Question 1

What is an Oracle Battle?

Accepted Answer

A private prediction game between you and your friends. The creator picks up to 20 real events — football matches, horse races, rugby, cricket or tennis fixtures, or lottery draws — everyone makes their picks and a live leaderboard scores them as results come in. It's entertainment only and for over-18s — no stakes, no betting advice.

Question 2

How do I challenge my friends?

Accepted Answer

Create a battle, then share its invite link or six-character code by WhatsApp, text, email or Telegram. Anyone with the link can join, and you can invite by email straight from the battle lobby.

Question 3

How many friends can join one battle?

Accepted Answer

There's no join limit — invite a couple of mates or your whole group chat. The creator can remove players, and the battle starts automatically when the first event begins.

Question 4

How are points scored?

Accepted Answer

Football: 3 points for the right result. Racing: 5 for the winner, 2 for second or third. Rugby, cricket and tennis: 3 points for the right result. Lottery: 1 per matching main ball and 2 per bonus ball. Picks lock when each event starts.

Question 5

What happens if an event is called off?

Accepted Answer

It's void: no one scores for it, nobody gains or loses ground, and the battle carries on with the remaining events. Everyone gets a notification explaining what happened and how it affects the battle.

Question 6

When is the leaderboard updated?

Accepted Answer

Scoring starts 90 minutes after each event begins and the standings then refresh automatically every 15 minutes. Football settles on the full-time result, races on the official result, and lottery draws usually settle later that evening or the next morning.

Question 7

Is it free to play?

Accepted Answer

Joining friends' battles is always free. Creating battles is free too — as many as you like, for up to 8 players each, with a free Cosmic Oracle account. Oracle Club removes the player limit and adds leagues. Winners earn Cosmic Wins, XP and bragging rights. It's entertainment only and for over-18s — no stakes, no betting advice.
